Kenya Hopes to Avoid More Violence

According to officials at allAfrica.com, Kenya a generally stable community is in the middle of recovering from the scare back in December. The riots left over 600 people dead and a good 200,000 displaced. When the newly elected officers gathered in their first meeting, a riot broke out on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya creating a whole new scare. The original elections were accused of being rigged and Kenya is now in the process of calming the situation. One of the considered ideas at the moment is re- tallying the votes, but there are ups and downs to all of the options. This story is still developing.
